Druid Call, A Gathering of Druids

Druid Call VenueA Druid Call is a call going out to all druids and people wishing to share or learn more about modern Druidry as a spiritual path and/or philosophy. Druid Call is an invitation to druids from all over the world to a Gathering of Druids.

Druid Call 2008 will be held Friday through Sunday, September 5, 6 and 7 in the beautiful mountains of Georgia near Chattanooga Tennessee. The location is within two hours of Atlanta, Nashville, Huntsville and Knoxville.

Updated: What to Bring - You! Also bring your ritual wear, a mug for hot beverages, and any crafts, art or writing you want to show off. Also, bring a pillow or something for sitting on the ground for meditation and maybe a lawn chair for when we go outside. Please no ritual swords or alcohol in the public areas of the park!

Meet at Group Shelter #1 on Friday September 5th, 1:30 pm. or as soon as you can get there after that!

The purpose of this event is to bring together people interested in modern Druidry of many varieties from around the world to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge while celebrating nature.

This inaugural event will be held in a magnificent natural setting near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The three day event will bring some of the most respected leaders of modern Druidry to teach in an intimate and open setting. On site lodging in beautiful cabins, RV or tent camping or at nearby hotels is available. Detailed information is available so that attendees can make their own lodging arrangements. Make your plans early for the best options!

The event is organized and presented by cooperative group of Groves and individuals from many different organizations. The general public and members of groves from any modern druid organization are welcome and eagerly invited to join us and share in this special weekend.
